I am born and raised in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and enjoy an active freelance career having played with the Winston-Salem Symphony, Greensboro Symphony, Asheville Symphony, Fayetteville Symphony, Union Symphony, Salisbury Symphony, Western Piedmont Symphony, Durham Symphony, Carolina Philharmonic, Long Bay Symphony, Charleston (SC) Symphony, as well as various chamber ensembles, churches, and choral societies. I am currently principal bassoon of the Piedmont Wind Symphony. I enjoy teaching a small studio and my students have performed in NC honor bands, honor orchestras, and received generous scholarships to study music in college.
